All I wanted in life was to be a good father, but I struggled with selfdoubt and I had no idea where to even begin. By the third fatherhood
class I was looking forward to the next one. I loved that other men were
trying to be good dads too and that I was learning practical steps to
better myself. I started walking with my chin up. I ended up getting a
better job. I eventually got full custody of my son. And most importantly,
I learned a whole lot more about God. Now I spend time with my son
every day. We go on walks, go to the park, and pretty much attend
every Fatherhood Initiative event we can. I just appreciate everything
they do for dads.
